What does a PRP Treatment entail?
We draw a small sample of your blood and process it to harvest platelets and growth factors.
PRP is formulated by spinning down your blood sample in a centrifuge to separate out the platelet-rich plasma from other parts of the blood in order to create a more concentrated collection of platelets.
We then use a painless micro-needling technique (not injections) to treat the scalp with PRP.
Micro-needling and PRP has been shown to aid thinning hair, balding, bald spots, receding hairlines, alopecia and more conditions.
There is minimal discomfort associated with this procedure and almost no downtime.
The first treatment typically takes approximately 60–75 minutes. Subsequent treatments generally run 60 minutes.
